Friends-In-Need

Two months ago, when Friends in Need assisted Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard, we found the cupboard quite bare.

Due to budget constraints, the Cupboard has had to cut its budget during the summer months, plus the federal subsidies have been trimmed back.

Starting the first Sunday of September, we will have a food collection of non-perishable items to replenish the Cupboard.

Baskets will be in the narthex for the collection of these items:

• Canned veggies

• Canned fruit

• Peanut butter and jelly

• Macaroni and cheese

• Pop-top items for the homeless

• Spaghetti and sauce

• Juices

• Breakfast Cereals

• Soups

• Canned Potatoes
