Chapter 1

1 What tells you that the author Luke is an accurate historian?

2 What is the last event in Luke’s Gospel? (Luke 24:50-53)

3 What "infallible proofs" (of Christ’s Resurrection) did he show?

How many people saw the risen Christ in those 40 days? (I Cor 15:3-6) Note: Acts 1:4-11 is a more detailed account of Luke 24:50-53

4 The Disciples were not to attempt the great mission until "the promise of the Father" was delivered. What was promised?

5 John the Baptist’s words are similar (Luke 3:16), but what is different?

6-7 The Disciples/Apostles are preoccupied with the Kingdom of God in power.

This will happen when Christ returns. What does Jesus say that we are not to be concerned about?
