Christians were meeting on "the Lord’s Day" (Sunday). See Matthew 28:1
for the primary reason to meet on this day.

8-12 Through Paul, the Lord healed the man who fell
asleep during the sermon, but note that they all return upstairs and
continue eating and talking.
13-16 Paul probably avoided Ephesus for 2 reasons. The
last time he was there his enemies caused a riot. Also Paul was
rushing to get to Jerusalem.
Already 2 Jewish festivals have been mentioned, and
no doubt Paul and many others continued to celebrate the major
festivals. What benefit for Christians might there be today in
celebrating some Jewish holidays?

Why is it vital not only that we finish whatever
